About the Auckland University Biology Students Association.

We are a recent addition to the network of clubs at the University of Auckland. Our goal is to provide a forum for Biology students to interact with each other, academics and employers on both a social and educational level.

We run a number of social events throughout the course of the year including pubcrawls, barbecues and the Biology Ball. On the educational side of things, we run careers evenings and other educational events.

We have a membership of nearing 200 students, which means that we can quickly contact a large proportion of the students studying biology at The University of Auckland. Membership only costs $5 and we offer a discount on all events, generally $5, so that a membership pays for itself, even if you only go to one event during the year. What is more, being a member entitles you to go into our email database and you will receive emails about each coming event.

The BSA is a fantastic way to meet people and to secure a future in the biology industry, either through research or commercial application. Besides that we have a great time. No event so far has had any complaints, apart from the usual headaches the next day after a pub crawl, so join us so you don't miss out on an important part of university life.

After all you can't study 24-7.

To join, contact either Annik or Dave.
Regards,
Exec.
